Biography

Born in Texas in the waning days of 1988, Alison Luff has performing in her blood and has spent nearly her entire adult life in front of an audience! Her musical theatre roots run deep, performing in many famous musicals throughout her childhood and teenage years before moving to New York City and making her Broadway debut in Mamma Mia! in 2012. From there she worked as an understudy for the Demi Moore role in the musical of Ghost, before moving on to play evil witch Elphaba in Wicked, Miss Honey in Matilda, Eponine in Les Miserables, and the lead role of Jenna in Waitress, based on the Keri Russell film of the same name! It wouldn’t be long before Alison would make the leap to on camera acting, starting with a one off role in a 2019 episode of FBI, followed by a six episode arc on the hospital drama New Amsterdam. All of this work on stage and on network television, however, kept us from getting a taste of what Alison might be hiding underneath her clothes, but thankfully that all changed with her starring role on the Starz series Heels in 2021! Playing the wife of Stephen Amell‘s character—a small time wrestler looking to revive his family’s wrestling league—Alison stands by her man in more ways than one and the second episode of the series finally brought us her nude debut! Alison and Amell get down to making out in the kitchen and he unbuttons her shirt to give us a look at her right breast! As this scene proves, there’s a lot to Luff about Alison!
